Character history:

(Warning to the mods: Wario has no set timeline, so this history is going to read an awful lot like a game list/summary…which is what it is. Just fair warning!)

Wario, like Mario was born in the Mushroom Kingdom, but was raised in Brooklyn. As a baby…Wario was the same as he was as an adult: mean-spirited and greedy. But at that age…he threw annoying tantrums. But despite this he actually helped the Yoshi tribe to stop Bowser (both in adult and child form) and Kamek (elder and younger) fromcapturing those with Star Powers inside them (Wario being one of them) – Yoshi’s Island DS

His next appearance would be much later in life…and in the shadows. He hired the alien Tatanga, to kidnap the princess of Sarasaland, Daisy. Why? He was jealkous of Mario’s small sector of the Mushroom Kingdom, given to him by Peach…and used the fact that Mario was away to capture his castle and zombify all its inhabitants, locking himself behind a barrier that could only be opened by the 6 Golden Coins. Mario overcame this…and soon Wario was out of an ill-gotten castle. – Super Mario Land 2: the Six Golden Coins.

Wario was disappointed…but only for a while. He soon heard of an island FILLED with treasure…and a reward for a stolen GOLD statue of Princess Peach, which was stolen by the notorious pirate Captain Syrup. He quickly traveled to the base of the pirates…which happened to be the island of treasure he had heard about. He rips through the pirates to get to Capt. Syrup…which to his surprise is female…and has a genie at her beck and call. Beating them, Wario sets off to get his reward…only to have Mario take the statue away before he can touch it. Wario only remains upset for a short time…realizing he still has an island’s worth of treasure, which he plundered along the way, to keep him happy. The genie, which is happy to be freed, gives Wario his own castle. – Super Mario Land 3: Wario Land

Wario though wasn’t through with being ticked off at his cousin Mario. He attempted to make him his slave by placing a bucket on his head. But this time, it was Luigi, with the aid of the fairy Wanda that stopped Wario’s plans, guiding Mario through several mazes until they defeated Wario in an aerial battle. – Mario & Wario

Wario decides for some reason, to take over a large forest sometime later. This time, a Toad steps into the spotlight (with Wanda’s assistance…as well as a Birdo) to stop him and his puzzle-army. – Wario’s Woods

During a vacation afterwards, Wario explores Aldegara Falls, seeing some creatures placing a large amount of treasure behind them. He attempts to steal it…but gets swallowed up by the ground. Furious Wario declares war on these creatures and prevails in his revenge. - Wario Land (Virtual Boy)

After his stressful vacation, Wario returned home for a long rest. The returning Capt. Syrup would interrupt this soon though, out for her own revenge. She steals every bit of Wario’s treasure and then floods his castle. This was a poor choice of action, as Wario chases her relentlessly, gets his treasure back…and steals what she had gained during the meantime. – Wario Land 2

Sometime later, Wario is flying his plane…and crashes into the deep woods. There he finds a strange music-box. A strange force named The Oracle promptly sucks him into it. It pleads with him to find several music cases, scattered in the music box’s landscape. He initially refuses…but is persuaded by being offered any and all the treasure he finds. After a long search (and haul), he returns to the Oracle with the cases. Unfortunately it changes the Oracle back to its true form…an evil clown named Rudy, who wants to conquer this world and Wario’s. Wario, ticked off about being tricked, beats up Rudy and destroys him. Doing this frees the people of the music box (who were actually every enemy he had fought along the way), and they reward Wario greatly for saving them. – Wario Land 3

Wario soon got bored and started his own business in Diamond City, based on the idea of getting rich off of making mini-video-games. He gains new friends, such as Mona, Kata & Ana and Jimmy T, and hires them to make his business work. In the end it is successful, and he (reluctantly after trying to steal it all for himself) gives his friends their share. Warioware Inc would continue to produce new sets of mini agmes, based off of Wario’s experiences with video games, whether it being based on a GBA with no buttons, the new DS, running a theme park. He would soon make new firnds: a witch named Ashley, a demon named Red, and a karaoke robot named Mike. – WarioWare Inc series

Soon he would find other, more treasure-filled exploits. He discovered a newspapaer article about a treasure-filled pyramid and decides to rob it blind. He gets stuck inside however, and his only company is a strange black cat and the discoverer of the pyramid. He explores the place thoroughly, and defeats many enemies…including the master of the place: an entity called the Golden Diva. After her defeat, the cat returns to her true state: the original owner of the pyramid, princess Shokora, and she rewards him with not only the treasure…but a big kiss. - Wario land 4

Wario steals a large Black Gem from an unknown location later on…but this soon proves to be a mistake as it changes his treasures into monsters, and then kicks him out of his castle. After freeing a band of fairies named spritelings, he returns to his castle to battle the Black Jewel. He defeats it with the fairies’ aid, and then make his castle even better than before. – Wario World

On his television, Wario hears word of a master thief (which is entirely fictional due to being a TV character), named Count Cannoli. Insanely jealous of his skill, Wario decides to invent a device to enter the show and prove he’s the best. Inside, he finds a stick (well..he steals it from the Count after landing on him) named Goodstyle, that allows him to change his form at will. He becomes ‘The Purple Wind’, and starts to raid the place, especially interested in a fragmented artifact named The Wishstone. He constantly has to deal with the Count and other thieves in his adventure. The wishstone is a trick however, and it unleashes a demon named Terrormisu. Wario stops it and seals it away…but unfortunately cannot take his treasure back to the real world with him. He vows to return and get it back someday… - Wario: Master of Disguise.

Syrup returns later on, with a strange gift for Wario: a globe she stole of something called the Shake Dimension. When he examines it, a plea from the people of the dimension comes out: the evil Shake King has kidnapped their princess, and he has stolen their bottomless coin bag. Wario takes the case, wanting the bag for himself. After beating the king, he returns home only to have the bag taken from him by Syrup, who had tricked Wario into getting it for her. – Wario Land: Shake it!

Wario has also taken a position in many of Mario & his friends’ competitions. These include golf, soccer, baseball, tennis, Party games and Kart racing.

Character personality (please also include how the stress of incarceration and the Warden's interference may affect your character. We realize that character interaction may influence and change this, however, certain aspects of your character's personality may be considered constant):

Wario is as ugly inside as he is outside. Greed and envy are his motivation for everything he does (especially the greed). With the treasure he obtains (most of it most likely stolen)…he never lets anyone come near. He’s very cheap…unless it benefits him greatly. He also has an extremely short temper, which leads, more often than not, massive violence.

Although he has been more than helpful in the games he’s starred in…he’s always had a monetary goal behind helping.

His cousin Mario has been the main source of his envy. Mario is everything Wario can’t stand about being goody-goody…yet he’s always gotten more cash and fame than he has…and it irritates him to no end.

Basically…Wario’s personality can be shaped by the 7 deadly sins.

1) His pride is one of his sore spots: you cross him or make hijm lok stupid…he’s going to get pissed.
2) His envy…again…is his secondary driving force
3) He’s very easily prone to wrath, whether the target deserves it or not.
4) His greed is the defining marker of his personality and his main motivator in life.
5) He is very lazy, often choosing to pick his nose rather than help or listen to someone. This is until his greed is invoked…or wrath…or envy…or a mix of them.
6) His girth speaks for itself when it comes to gluttony. He loves to eat…explaining his size.
7) Lust is the low man on the sin totem pole…he doesn’t seem to interested in girls too much. He’ll generally react to sex like any normal man in that accord.

Physical description:

Wario is a disgusting-looking person. His mustache is twisted in a zigzag pattern, strewn across his flabby face. He is quite muscular…but that is hidden under his rolls of fat (except for his arms…which are just large with muscle).

Magical powers or special skills: (Please indicate which powers/skills are natural/born with talent and which are learned. If the powers are a mixture of both, please indicate and explain. IE: Harry Potter has natural magical powers, but cannot control/use spells without being taught).

Wario, like the rest of his family was gifted with abnormally high amounts of leaping ability, speed and agility. He’s also remarkably strong and durable…moreso than even Mario…matching and maybe even surpassing Bowser, due to both his genetics and his girth. He is also able to produce damaging amounts of both methane (in the form of massive farts), and nitrogen/oxygen (in the form of burping). He also has a permanent smell of garlic on his breath, due to his love of eating whole cloves of it. These help power him up temporarily, much like mushrooms for Mario and Luigi Also like Mario, he can use various items to create powers for himself: a certain type of garlic will give him bullhorns, being lit on fire will allow him to turning into a rampaging fire-person, being bitten by any bat will turn him into a vampire, and being crushed will make him take on a flattened state.

Any crimes committed in canon: Thievery of all shapes and sizes
Crime incarcerated into Glaxcin for (this can be any crime(s) of your choosing, especially if the character is not a criminal in their canon): Stealing Mario’s castle (Super Mario Land 2)
